Like the Farmstay program students will study at IH Vancouver or Whistler for 4~24
weeks, then move to a ranch away from all the bright lights of the city. Participants
will stay with a family who run their own farm or ranch and will include them in their
personal activities as well as local events and show participants how to get around
in rural daily life.
Students pay a weekly fee to stay on the ranch and do not work other than simple
household chores. For people looking to learn something about the community
they are placed in and farming in general, this is an excellent opportunity.
