How
does IH Vancouver choose its host families?
We
have our own in-house Housing Director who carefully
chooses and screens our host families.
 Families
are selected based on their caring nature and interest
to be a part of our international
students
Canadian experience.
Where
are the IH Vancouver homestays located?
The
families are all located in Vancouver and we do not
place in outlying areas such as Burnaby,
North
Vancouver or Richmond. They are within 20-40 minutes
by bus to the school.
Who
can I talk to if I have a concern about my housing?
IH
Vancouver has a caring full-time Housing Director you
can talk to anytime about anything!
Our
priority is to resolve any issues in-house. We also
have staff who can speak different languages
if
you need assistance in your native language.
Can
I move out of my homestay before my scheduled housing
finish date?
Our
housing policy is students registered for 1 month or
less in IH housing, must give 2 weeks
advance
notice of moving.
Students registered for more than
1 month of IH housing must give 1 month advance
notice of moving.
