Vancouver is located on the northwest corner of Broadway
and Alder Street, between Oak

Granville. There is an express bus stop at Broadway
and Granville (99-B Line and 98-B Line
Buses)

campus is within walking distance to Kitsilano Beach,
Granville Island, many shops, restaurants
and
cafes and is 10 minutes by bus to downtown.

The IH Vancouver campus has 25 classrooms.
What
facilities does the IH Vancouver campus have?
The
campus has 2 student lounges, 3 computer rooms with
free internet access for students,
1computer
language lab, coffee/snack/drink machines, microwaves,
student parking, an outdoor
balcony
with spectacular views of the city, sports equipment
available for sign-out and more!
Will
I get a student card from IH Vancouver?
On
your 1st day of classes, we will take your photo and
issue you a student card.
This
card can get you discounts at many local attractions.
Always ask if businesses offer student
discounts!
You will not be able to use this card for entrance to
nightclubs or pubs!
For
discounts for travel etc., it is recommended you get
an ISIC card before you come to Canada.

Can
I use computers at IH Vancouver?
Yes.
There are 48 student computers available for free internet
and email access.
Do
I have to speak English while at school?
IH
Vancouver has a very strict English Only Policy.
If
you are caught speaking a language other than English,
there are penalties!
If
students would like to speak their native language,
we ask they go outside to do so!
